Friday, February 24, 2023 - Today I visited the Grace Hospital Foundation's Jon Einarson and Jeff Coleman. The foundation does great work for our hospital and for the staff. They are currently completing a "Wellness Area" specifically for staff.
I was pleased to hear about how generous our corporate neighbours are by providing food and treats for staff in cooperation with the Grace Hospital Foundation.
During our visit, I was happy to speak with some hospital staff, Dr. Ramin Hamedani, Chief Medical Officer and Dr. Khalid Zeid, who gave me some great insights.
It was also nice to hear that our government's investments in the Grace Hospital are helping and positively impacting the staff and patients. During my campaign I reminded residents that Premier Heather Stefanson committed to doubling the size of the Intensive Care Unit at the Grace and the team is excited about the changes coming.
