Wednesday, February 15, 2023 - I had the pleasure of visiting students in grade one and two at the St. Charles Catholic School today. I read two books to the students about the Golden Boy for Love to Read Month.
The students were very interested in the Golden Boy, who he was, how he got to Manitoba, how tall was he and more. But the best question was, "because you are the Environment guy (Minister), can you make it warmer?"
The student was not happy when I replied with no, I don't have that ability. However, another student said the groundhog already said it was going to stay cold.
These moments are priceless and why I love what I do in our community.
