I have received calls from residents in our community with concerns about the speed of vehicles on their streets. They are asking me to have speed bumps or other traffic calming measures implemented on their road.
In the past, when I was first elected, I happily worked with residents to address these concerns. However, the process changed at a previous council meeting. The obligation and effort required to implement changes have now been placed upon residents, and the final decision is that of the Public Service, not the city council.
