WINNIPEG, MB. - On October 12, 2020 a deceased male later identified as 29-year-old Mohamed Ahmed was discovered in the Red River near Churchill Drive and Hay Street.
His death was determined to be a homicide. Members of the Homicide Unit continued to investigate his murder and have obtained a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of Jesse James Daher, 28 of Winnipeg for Second-Degree Murder.
Daher is described as a white male, 6’3” in height, approximately 155 lbs in weight, with a thin build. He has green eyes and is believed to have a shaved head or possibly brown short hair.
Daher is considered to be armed and dangerous and the public is cautioned not to approach him.
