As Mayor, Kevin Klein has committed to adding Primary Paramedic Response teams to build on the success of the Winnipeg EPIC program.
The PPR Units will be staffed with our highest trained paramedics in single response units. They can use the full scope of their training to Deliver the Appropriate Response, Appropriate Level of Care and determine the Appropriate destination for patients calling 911.
