Councillor Kevin Klein moved a motion (belwo) to address concerns with the recent decisions of the Supreme Court to reinstate intoxication as a defense for violent crimes, including murder.
The motion will be debated and voted on during the June Winnipeg City Council meeting.
Today Councillor Klein sent a personal letter (Below) to Justice Minister and Attorney General David Lametti.
