Saturday I communicated that there were several forecasters suggesting a Colorado Low was headed our way bringing 30 centimetres of snow or more. Today the storm model has been updated and a Special Weather Statement has been issued.
Environment Canada has officially published a Special Weather Statement for Winnipeg and Southern Manitoba. The total storm snowfall accumulations near the US border may approach 60 cm. North of this region, general storm-total accumulations of 20 to 40+ cm are possible, including for the city of Winnipeg.
