Winnipeg Police have reported that on July 28th they became involved in an investigation involving a severely injured three-month-old baby.
Police said, the baby was transported to hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
On July 31st the only suspect in this incident, an adult male, was located dead at a residence in the Silver Heights neighbourhood. No foul play is suspected in the males death.
The Winnipeg Police Child Abuse Unit conducted this investigation.
