Street Upgrading on Stockton Place & Colchester Bay

By: Councillor Kevin Klein serving Charleswood-Tuxedo-Westwood

The City of Winnipeg will begin work on two streets in our community that will impact traffic for local residents.

The City will be repairing the concrete pavement and curb, then placing a new asphalt overlay to improve drainage and ride-ability on STOCKTON PLACE CUL-DE-SAC and on COLCHESTER BAY from HOLLAND BOULEVARD TO HOLLAND BOULEVARD.

During these two construction projects, the streets will be restricted to local access only and parking on the streets will be prohibited. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Access to driveways will be maintained during the majority of construction

If you live on the street and have accessibility needs, moving requirements, planned special events or known underground appurtenances (such as sprinkler systems, lighting cables, etc.) within 20 feet of the curb, please call our office at (204) 986-5232 or email kevin@kevinklein.ca.

I appreciate how frustrating this work may be and apologize for the inconvenience. We do appreciate your patience as we work to make your street better.
