WINNIPEG, MB. - On January 15, 2021, the Winnipeg Police Service Guns & Gangs Unit entered into a drug trafficking investigation at a residence in the 500 block of Portage Avenue.
At 1:45 p.m., two adults were arrested in the area of Logan Avenue and Owena Street in connection to this investigation. A search upon arrest revealed:
$50,000 proceeds of crime (cash currency)
216 grams Methamphetamine (street value of $21,000)
28 grams Fentanyl (street value over $5,000)
a stolen laptop computer
a stolen bicycle
Aaron Robert Wilson, 37 and Hayley Maria Dawn Wolowich, 23, of Winnipeg were charged with numerous drug and property-related offences.
They were both detained in custody.
