City of Winnipeg Release
Monday, June 22, at 8:49 a.m., the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a one-and-a-half storey home in the 200 block of Selkirk Avenue.
When crews arrived on scene, they encountered smoke coming from the home. Crews launched an offensive attack, declaring the fire under control at 9:17 p.m.
Crews searched the home and no occupants were located. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and no damage estimates are available.
