Winnipeg Police Service
On November 22, 2020, at 2:26 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to an apartment building in the 300 block of Charles Street for a report of an unresponsive individual that had been found.
Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult male inside a suite. The death is being treated as a homicide.
The number of reported homicides in 2020 to date is 39, according to Winnipeg Police.
The homicide record number was set in 2019 when there were 44 homicides reported.
