(Winnipeg Police Release)
On April 18, 2020, at 1:54 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the Assiniboine Forest for a report of possible human remains that had been discovered. The identity of the remains is unknown at this time. Members of the Major Crimes Unit, the Forensic Identification Section and Chief’s Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate.
