Congratulations to our first recipient of the Community Champion Award, Garry Epp.
Garry is a retired civil servant who has been picking up litter in Charleswood for over 13 years.
When Garry retired one of his goals was to walk more, and he has definitely accomplished that with an average trek of about 5 miles a day, 5 days a week.
The next time you see Garry cleaning up your street be sure to give a quick ‘thank you’ honk for his tireless work to keep the community clean!
In addition to the award, I will be working to acknowledge Mr. Epp's service with an honorary street naming.
