WINNIPEG, MB. - At 5:51 p.m. on February 4, 2021, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to reports of a fire in an industrial shop in the 1400 block of Charleswood Road.
When crews arrived on scene, they encountered smoke coming from the structure. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 6:40 p.m. WFPS water tankers were used to shuttle water to the scene, as the fire was outside the City of Winnipeg water district.
There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental. No damage estimates are currently available.
