On September 22, 2020, at approximately 6:10 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Main Street and Matheson Avenue for report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
Emergency personnel attended and located the victim, a 62-year-old male of Winnipeg. While he was crossing the street heading eastbound, he was struck by a vehicle heading northbound on Main Street. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Members of the Traffic Unit are investigating.
