After hearing all the residents and learning about the lack of neighbourhood engagement or reasonable alternatives, I moved a motion to deny the application which passed. Councillor Lukes, voted opposed to my motion.
It is important to understand that we need to discuss these applications and designs openly, and reasonably. Each application received is to build on private property, and that comes with many rights that we all share.
