City fees were increased without any public consultation, there was no debate with all members of the council, and nobody even asked a question.
Recently the Mayor and his Executive Policy Committee (EPC) quietly passed several fee increases to residents for various services.
Some of the fees were increased as much as 300%, that is not a typo, 300%. Sadly, EPC members had no questions, no discussion, and no consultation with the public.
This is unacceptable, increasing fees without public debate is not what I had hoped for at City Hall. You can see a full listing of the increases, click here.
