On December 21, 2021, I informed residents of an application for development with a post to this website.
The photo above shows the official Public Notice sign that was placed on McQuaker. I have received calls questioning the placement. After several emails and phone calls with department officials I was informed the current sign location is the required location.
I am working with the city and developer on a solution. In the meantime I am hopeful this post will inform people and ask that you to share it with your neighbours and friends.
These are the details that would appear on the sign.
I encourage anyone in support or opposition to register and present their case during the hearing. The Public Hearing is the only opportunity residents have to speak in support or opposition to the application.
The Public Hearing is Friday, January 28, 2022, at 10:30 am. Residents can participate via ZOOM by emailing LCowan@winnipeg.ca.
